The High Priestess - 2

Be still and explore the unknown

The Fool’s next lesson is with the High Priestess who sits facing us between two pillars, one black and one white, with a crescent moon at her feet.  Behind her is a veil with palms and pomegranates protecting secret knowledge while the scroll in her hands tells us the secrets will be revealed to those who seek them.  She embodies the divine feminine and is the keeper of intuition and knowledge, she is the balance between the law and divine message needed for spiritual enlightenment.  While the Magician began to realize his power, the High Priestess understands how to utilize it.

Meanings

  • The High Priestess represents Intuition – the middle ground between inspiration (the Magician) and creation (the Empress).

  • This is a time for development of your creative spark and intuition through learning secret knowledge that will be revealed at the right time.

  • Look within yourself and study your subconscious, not everything can be learned from books.

  • Warning to focus, look within, and stop seeking external answers.

Numerology - 2

Twos represent duality, partnership, and cooperation with others.  They are tied to the Moon (the flowing tides of the ocean, and cycles of crops); this indicates intuition and deep emotional awareness of both the spoken and unexpressed thoughts and feelings of themselves and others.  Twos can indicate diplomacy and balance but also can have instability or swings between depression and creativity.
